CharitiesDAO: Unleashing the Potential of Traditional Grass-root Artistry

The purpose of this feasibility research report is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the potential of CharitiesDAO as a decentralized autonomous non-profit organization (DANO) that aims to connect charities, individual contributors, and receivers in a decentralized ecosystem in order to build more transparent and efficient donation chains. The report will focus on the benefits of CharitiesDAO for traditional grass-root artists, such as Canadian Indigenous artists, who are often marginalized and undervalued in the mainstream art world.

Background of CharitiesDAO:

CharitiesDAO is a platform that leverages blockchain technology to create a more transparent and efficient donation chain. By connecting a wide range of stakeholders, including NGOs, government funding authorities, fundraising platforms, crowdfunding platforms, social workers, volunteers, and project accelerators and incubators, CharitiesDAO aims to create a more holistic and effective approach to giving. CharitiesDAO also enables individual contributors to directly and transparently fund grass-root artists, community-based projects, and to track their impact. CharitiesDAO has already implemented in various real-world scenarios, for example, in collaboration with a Canadian Indigenous community, CharitiesDAO was able to provide direct financial support to traditional artists, allowing them to continue their craft and sustain their livelihood. CharitiesDAO’s accelerator program provides incubation, funding, and mentorship for grass-root artists, which allows these artists to learn about the world of NFTs, how to digitize their artworks and how to market their artworks in a digital world.

Problem statement: Traditional grass-root artists are often marginalized and undervalued in the mainstream art world. Their traditional crafts such as totem handicrafts, woodcarving and painting, and embroidery are usually unappreciated and undervalued. Charitable donations can often be difficult to track, making it hard for donors to see the impact of their giving.

Methodology of our CharitiesDAO team:

To evaluate the feasibility of CharitiesDAO, this research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. The study relied on several sources of information including literature review, interviews with experts and stakeholders, case studies, and market research.

What we found in the research & survey:

The research found that CharitiesDAO has the potential to provide significant benefits for traditional grass-root artists. By creating a more transparent and efficient donation chain, CharitiesDAO can empower marginalized and undervalued artists by providing them with direct support from individual donors and potentially finding new audiences for their work. CharitiesDAO’s accelerator program also provides a great opportunity to promote traditional art globally.

Additionally, the research identified a number of potential benefits for other stakeholders involved in CharitiesDAO, such as the NGOs, government funding authorities, fundraising platforms, crowdfunding platforms, social workers, volunteers, and project accelerators and incubators.

Based on the findings of this research, it is recommended that potential investors or customers consider investing in CharitiesDAO as it presents an innovative solution to support traditional grass-root artists and marginalized communities. CharitiesDAO’s accelerator program, the transparency and direct funding capabilities of the platform and its ability to track impact are features that can attract potential customers and investors.
